Returns and Refunds Policy

Hi, we’re ThemeLooks and welcome to the ThemeLooks Refund Rules. These rules outline what you can expect from us of the items you buy. We provide a transparent approach to refunds giving you a great platform experience and a “fair go”.

As the creator and owner of the items on ThemeLooks, we are responsible to you for items you purchase. These rules are based on consumer laws that we think are the best “baseline” to apply to transactions that happen on ThemeLooks so you as the buyer have a consistent experience and know what to expect from us. Please be aware that in addition to these rules, each country has its own laws surrounding refunds.

Here are the situations in which we give a refund on an item and related services you have purchased.

We can issue a refund if there is a major technical problem with a product you purchased and we are unable to help to resolve the matter or if there was a misrepresentation in the product’s description or product doesn’t work the way it should or product has a security vulnerability or product that have not been downloaded.

Before you ask for a refund

If you have purchased an item from our “Web Themes and Templates” or “Code” and you are experiencing a technical issue with the item we recommend that you contact our support and seek assistance. We are able to help troubleshoot your problem.

Asking for refunds

We understand, however, that sometimes we may not be able to solve your issue or there may be circumstances in which a refund is warranted. In this case, here are the circumstances in which we provide you with a refund:

Item is “not as described” or the item doesn’t work the way it should.

If an item doesn’t work the way it should then we are required to promptly fix the issue by updating the item. An item is “not as described” if it is materially different from the item description or preview. If the issue can’t be fixed or it turns out that the item is “not as described” then you would be entitled to a refund from us.

Item has a security vulnerability

If an item contains a security vulnerability and can’t easily be fixed you may be entitled to a refund from us. If the item can be fixed, then we should do so promptly by updating the item. If the item contains a security vulnerability that is not patched in an appropriate timeframe then we would expect us to provide a refund for the item.

Item support is promised but not provided

If we advertise our item as including item support and/or you purchase an item support extension, you have a current support entitlement (including an extension if you purchase it). If you are not provided that support in accordance with the item support policy we will provide you with a refund of the costs of the item (if item support was included), or the item support purchase (if support was required during the extension period). Please note that unused Item Support Extensions are non-refundable.

Items that have not been downloaded

If you have not downloaded a purchased item within 30 days from the date of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund. You will be required your purchase code in order to verify your claim that you have not downloaded an item. Although we consider 30 days to be a reasonable time, if you have different rights under applicable consumer law, we don’t exclude those laws and you may have a longer period to claim a refund if you have purchased for personal use and haven’t downloaded the item.

Why a refund may not be given

We do not issue refunds for digital products once the order is confirmed and the product was sent/ready to download or you already downloaded. There is no obligation to provide a refund or credit in situations if

– you don’t want it after you’ve downloaded it;
– the item did not meet your expectations;
– you simply change your mind about an item;
– you bought an item by mistake;
– you do not have sufficient expertise to use the item;
– you ask for goodwill; or
– you can no longer access the item because it has been removed from ThemeLooks (we advise you to download items as soon as you buy them to avoid this situation).

We recommend contacting us for assistance if you experience any issues receiving or downloading offered products.
